Fairy Wishes

Having got the birthday cards for May done and still trying to decide exactly what I want to the for the May wedding card, I made a start on the June birthdays. You might wonder why I am trying to get so far ahead of myself - let me explain. I am heading to bonnie Scotland at the beginning of May and won't be returning to my main craft room until at least the middle of August. Although I do make cards in Scotland I don't have all my bits and pieces there and thus find it a bit more difficult to be creative.

Sweet Baby Girl

This card was done to go along with a baby present for an ex-colleague. For the mats I used downloaded papers from Funky Hand's Baby Papers and Tags set. The image was a coloured digistamp from Pink Gem Design called Bathtime Baby. I cropped the sentiment from one of the pages from Funky Hand's set. Finished it off with some ribbon and pearls from my stash.

Countdown to a New Challenge on the Block

Thinking of Ewe

One of the teachers at school asked if I would do a couple of cards for her. Here is the first one, the second one still has to be made. Her instructions for the first card were that the sentiment had to be 'thinking of you' and that the image had to be cute. So I think I have ticked both the boxes. The stamped image, is a new one for me, from Pink Gem Designs, which I coloured with a couple of copic pens. With this image, the sentiment could only be 'thinking of ewe'. The paper were a set of freebie papers from one of my crafting magazines.

I have entered the card into Sunday Sketch and Stamp's fortnightly challenge. The only stipulations for their challenges is that you use either a digital or traditional stamped image and that they can recognise the original sketch.
