Although I had turned off the word verfication option in favour of moderating comments myself before reading the post on Liz's Blog and the arguments put forward by Jane at Doodles and Scraps of me I have decided to join in the campaign. I know that the verification process was set up to stop spam comments, but I found it was beginning to put me off commenting on friends blogs as it took up a fair bit of time.
