Prairie Fairy Friday Challenge - An Oriental Slant

Found Prairie Fairy, the blog and shop, through my crafting buddy, Linda J (aka Pinklilac), so thanks Linda for showing me the way. I have to say that Linda can sometimes lead me astray, and this one of those occasions, ending up doing some shopping at the Prairie Fairy shop (shhh don't tell hubby, lol).

Anyway on to the challenge. Bought this Kanban concept card kit ages back. When I saw it I knew exactly who would recieve the card once it was made up, my travelling companion to and from school, Lynn. To fit in the with the challenge sketch I added a plain purple and gold border across the middle and on a blank tag from the kit added a happy birthday peel off. Instead of using a flower as per the sketch, I used the dragaonfly digitial stamp, one of my first purchases from Prairie Fairy. I printed it off the design on vellum and coloured (on the back or wrong side)the wings in with a sakura pen and the body with a copic pen. Finishing off with three tiny purple gems.

Thanks for popping by.
