In all expat communities there are always new people arriving and others leaving. One of those leaving Awali in the near future is Trish, who is one of the ladies in the canasta group that I play with in Awali. Trish and her husband Dave are heading back to England to retire. One of the group, Pat, organised an afternoon game of canasta by way of a farewell do. There were 8 of us there and we had a great afternoon. Pat's husband took a photo of all us so that it could be put into Trish's leaving present from the group, a photo frame.
In the photo from left to right are Eileen, Lynn, Leah, Barbara, Pat, Kathy and myself and seat is Trish.
